We are ready to begin! I use a long tail cast on but, you may use the cast on of your choice.
Cast on 160 stitches and lets go! Follow along with your pattern and with the spreadsheet available in the files or
links to help you keep track of rows and stitch amounts. I mark what row I am on by placing a sheet from a yellow sticky
pad under the row on the spreadsheet. Color A will be your main color (I'm using a Country Rose color), B your second color
(mine is a medium sage green), and C the third (I chose white).
Row 1: In your main color (from now on known as color A), Knit 34 , then SK2P (slip one stitch to the right
hand needle without knitting, Knit two stitches together, then pass the slipped stitch over , you've decreased two stitches),
Knit 86, SK2P, then finish out the row by knitting 34. The 34 stitches on either end are the cuffs of your sleeves.
Knit rows 2 through 10 following the charts and pattern. All even rows are knit.
Row 11: attach Color B and work as follows according to your pattern (K3, M1) 9 times, K2, SK2P, Knit 76,
SK2P, Knit 2, (M1, K3) 9 times
To M1, Pick up the bar or strand between the last stitch knitted and the next stitch (still on
the left needle). Place the picked up stitch on your left needle and twist the strand by knitting into the back loop
. This makes an increase of 1 stitch.
Knit row 12 in color B, take a deep breath and be ready for tomorrow. You are doing it!
