Here is the beginnings of the Baby Surplice Sweater Knitalong. Please print out the pattern from our group files section for your materials listing. You'll have to scroll clear down to the bottom to get it.  We're going to move along at around 20 rows per day.  A little quicker than we normally do but, we want to fit in several other small projects over this month and May.  Any questions?

Day One, Two and Three



Cast on 150 sts.



Rows 1-4: Knit



Row 5: K4, YO, K2 tog , K5 repeat across,  end K2 tog , YO, K4 (150)



Row 6: Knit



Row 7 (148 sts): K4, SSK, Work to 6 sts from end, K 2 tog, K4



Row 8: Knit



Row 9 (146 sts) , Row 11(152)



Row 10: Knit 1/3 of sts (48 sts), K1, Inc 1 in next stitch, K 7 repeat 5 more times, K1, Knit 1/3 of sts (48) (152) You are increasing 6 sts on the center 1/3 of sweater.



Repeat rows 7 and 8 until you have 100 sts. Left on the needles
