Needles all ready?? You've gotten through Day One and even changed colors!! You're doing it girls, so on
to see what we can get into on Day Two!
It is a beautiful day here in Ohio. A few years ago my hubby made me a wonderful cedar front porch. I'm going to pretend
you are all joining me in our nifty chairs he just made this spring. They are so comfortable for knitting! The
ice tea is made, the coffee is on, conversation is great and I bet I can even find a few chocolate Easter eggs for you
around here somewhere! Join me in knitting Day Two

Day Two will be pretty much the same as Day One except we will be making stripes consisting of one odd and one even row.
With color A coming up from underneath Color B and , following your pattern, tutorial or spread sheet let's begin with
Row 13: Knit 37, make your SK2P, Knit 74, SK2P, and Knit 37. You will have 150 stitches on the needle. If
you are using straights you might want to switch on over to a circular soon. Row 14 gets knit in Color A also.
Rows 15 and 16 will be back with B. Rows 17 and 18 A etc. Following the tutorial sheet knit on until you complete Row
24. Fasten off Color B. We're done with it for a while. You have 130 stitches on the needles at this
point.

We have a new baby in our family , brand spanking new last Wednesday. A new cousin for my kids named Michaela ( coming
from my oldest son , Michael) Marie (I have a niece Kristen Marie and one Amanda Marie) . Michaela Marie's
grandfather is a John Deere nut (restores tractors and even painted his truck and horse trailer John Deere green, mom
shows Quarter Horses, and Dad does Rodeo so I thought this darling girl needed a John Deere tractor sweater. The knitting
looks a little different because I knitted cuffs before starting my cast on row for the sweater. We'll explain how you
can do this when we do our finishing lesson.
